Registered Dental Assistant
Job Description Position Overview: The Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) supports pediatric and general dental procedures within a fast-paced, patient-centered practice.
Clinical Duties: Deliver chairside assistance, prepare treatment operatories under aseptic standards, capture X-rays and 3D scans, and execute four-handed dentistry.
Patient Management: Record vital signs and medical histories in EMR systems, manage HIPAA-compliant documentation, and provide oral hygiene instruction to patients and parents.
Operations & Sterilization: Sterilize clinical instruments, manage operatory supplies, and maintain organized treatment rooms.
full-time $20 - $29 per hour
- Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience.
Shift & ScheduleOperating hours are Monday through Saturday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Full-time and part-time schedules are available.
Requirements RDA Certification: Current and valid Registered Dental Assistant credential is required.
Clinical Experience: Previous clinical experience in general or pediatric dental assisting.
Software Proficiency: Familiarity with dental EMR systems such as OpenDental.
Core Knowledge: Strong understanding of aseptic techniques, sterilization protocols, HIPAA regulations, and dental specialties.
