Marine Welders And Pipe FittersMarine welders and pipe fitters perform structural and pipe welding on vessels, barges, and marine structures. Required to follow ABS, OSHA, USCG and company policies.Responsibilities:• SMAW, FCAW, GMAW welding on carbon steel, aluminum, stainless• Fit and install pipe systems and structural components• Read blueprints and ABS/USCG specifications• Work in dry docks, onboard vessels, and in shop environmentsRequirements:• ABS or Coast Guard welding certifications preferred• Ability to pass weld test• Shipyard or heavy industrial experience• TWIC preferred
