Job Title: Repair & Test Technician
Location: Socorro / El Paso, TX
Pay: $21.50/hr (Day Shift) | $25.00/hr (Night Shift)
Job Type: Long-Term Opportunity
Are you interested in computers, IT, or hands-on technical troubleshooting? Balance Staffing is hiring Repair & Test Technicians for a long-term opportunity in the Socorro area.
This is a great opportunity for candidates with a background in IT, computer hardware, technical support, or related fields who want to apply their technical skills in a hands-on environment.
ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot, test, and repair server hardware and computer components.
Identify hardware issues and help determine the appropriate solutions.
Perform technical tests and follow established repair procedures.
Work with basic Linux commands and Python scripts in a server environment.
Document repairs, test results, and troubleshooting activities.
Follow safety procedures and maintain an organized work area.
Basic knowledge of computer hardware and its main components.
Experience or educational background in IT, computer science, engineering, technical support, or a related field.
Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with Linux and/or Python is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
Ability to work the assigned 12-hour shift schedule.
You do not need to be a senior engineer to qualify. Candidates with foundational technical knowledge, hands-on experience, or relevant education are encouraged to apply.
Pay & ScheduleDay Shift: $21.50/hr
Night Shift: $25.00/hr
12-hour shifts, including weekends, depending on the assigned schedule.
