Human Resources Specialist
Pittsburgh, PA | Full time | In person | $18-$20 per hour
Meals Direct is seeking a bilingual Human Resources Specialist with proficiency in English and Spanish. This role supports recruitment, employee relations, onboarding and HR administration. It requires clear communication, cultural sensitivity, attention to detail and the ability to manage several responsibilities.
Responsibilities
• Support recruitment by posting jobs, screening resumes and coordinating interviews in English and Spanish.
• Answer employee questions about HR policies, benefits and procedures in both languages.
• Support onboarding and orientation for new employees.
• Maintain accurate, confidential employee records and HR databases in line with company policies.
• Help coordinate training, workshops and employee development activities.
• Contribute to HR policies that support diversity, equity and inclusion.
• Support performance management by helping employees and management communicate.
• Help resolve employee relations issues professionally and with cultural sensitivity.
• Prepare reports, maintain documents and manage correspondence related to HR work.
Qualifications
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
• At least one year of human resources experience is required.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.
• Clear verbal and written communication and strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly and professionally.
• Familiarity with HR software and Microsoft Office is an advantage.
